ESS-IPS has played a key role in my professional career. After completing my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy, I achieved two major goals: opening my own clinic and working with the Portuguese Basketball Federation. Sharing this experience with a prestigious teaching staff and colleagues from a variety of professional backgrounds made it all the more rewarding.

The Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing enabled me to acquire key skills, transformed my practice, and brought benefits to patients and their families as well as to the healthcare system, whilst also leading to greater professional satisfaction.

The master’s degree was a highly enriching and meaningful experience. I now feel like a more well-rounded professional, and I am currently involved in research thanks to my thesis project.

I recall the high-quality education, combined with the close ties to the wider academic community and the innovation that have made ESS an inspiring place for those seeking to make a difference. Being part of this story is a unique experience, full of challenges and lessons that have shaped not only my career, but also my vision of the positive impact I can have as a healthcare professional.

School of Health in Setúbal was undoubtedly the best choice I could have made for studying nursing. The fact that the classes are small makes for a more personal and close-knit learning environment, with all the lecturers and fellow students on hand to welcome us and support us throughout our academic journey.

The master’s degree in physiotherapy gave me more tools to implement an evidence-based and user-centered practice, bringing better results to my patients.

The Master’s in Speech Therapy was a choice, an asset and an exceptional blend of challenge, rigour and professional and personal growth.
