The Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) are international mobility programs promoted by Erasmus+, which combine face-to-face and virtual learning activities. The aim of these programs is to provide an innovative and accessible educational experience, bringing together students and/or teachers from at least three higher education institutions in different countries.
The virtual component consists of collaborative online activities that can take place before, during or after the face-to-face period, promoting joint work between participants at a distance. The face-to-face part corresponds to short-term physical mobility, with a minimum of five days spent at one of the partner institutions.
BIPs encourage interdisciplinarity, pedagogical innovation and the internationalization of the curriculum, while promoting the development of collaborative, intercultural and linguistic skills.
Participants can apply for financial support from the Erasmus+ program to cover mobility-related expenses.
