International students are welcome at the School of Health Sciences/IPS, whether from European countries (Erasmus Programme) or from South American countries (Santander Scholarships).
Long-term mobility
For long-term mobility, students can choose between a ‘Study Agreement’ or a ‘Placement Agreement’.
It is important to note that most classes are taught in Portuguese and that students have access to a range of healthcare providers (clinical placements) where they can undertake placements. For these reasons, an acceptable level of English or Portuguese is required.
